Historique :
Construite initialement entre 1880 et 1888, la caserne Friederichs, véritable emblème de la garnison et du 35ème régiment d'infanterie qui l'occupe jusqu'en 2010 répond à l'augmentation considérable des effectifs de la garnison après 1873.
